Overview

When I started to build a PC for myself, one thing popped in my head. AMD vs Intel Processors.

And I know whoever starts building their own PC, this is a very obvious thing to worry upon! What to choose or who’s the best or something like is Intel losing and falling behind?

But, there are certain features or specs that make both the processors unique. Most likely, you will get to know about them here!

AMD Ryzen 3 vs Intel Core i3

Intel i3 10100

Both Ryzen 3 3300X and the Intel i3 10100 have 4 cores and 8 threads inside them. The features do not vary much and remain on a similar level.

However, Ryzen 3 3300X has a much greater cache size than Intel i3 10100 which is enough to make a difference at low budget CPU benchmark tests.

Ryzen 3 vs i3: what to choose?

On varying bench mark tests the Ryzen 3 performs extremely well. The CPU provides a great cost to performance ratio.

Without any doubt, the Ryzen 3 3300X wins low budget CPU title. Adding to it, the processor takes multi-tasking very well, all thanks to 16MB cache.

AMD RYZEN 5 VS I5

Ryzen 5 3600

The Ryzen 5 3600 and the Intel i5 10600 come with 6 cores and 12 threads making them very good for gaming. When it comes to multitasking Intel i5 is overtaken by the Ryzen.

Even the best of i5 gaming processors can’t win at multi-core performances.

The clock speed range of Ryzen is low making i5 a better gaming choice. Still, Ryzen 5 3600 can be overclocked for extra frames. The power remains almost similar.

Ryzen 5 vs i5: what to choose?

This entirely depends on your budget and requirements!

If you want just to play games, Intel i5 10600 is the go-to option currently in 2021.

If you are involved in gaming and heavy CPU requirements, Ryzen 5 is the best option.

Tell me what you think in comments as this is highly subjective. I want to know your opinions.

AMD RYZEN 5 3600X VS INTEL CORE i5 10600k

The Intel i5 10600k offers a very high clock speed making it a better option for pushing game settings as much as possible.

Also, this makes i5 handle relatively heavy tasks, edit high-quality videos and whatnot.

But, the place where i5 falls back of Ryzen 5 is its smaller cache size. This can hinder the performance for heavy multitasking and 4K video editing.

On the other hand, Ryzen 5, with increased cache size, delivers a much better overall performance. Increased cache makes 3600X better choice for multitasking and heavy-duty tasks.

Ryzen 7 3700X vs i7 10700k: What to choose?

Using both these CPU(s), one thing I can say that both the processors are very similar.

Since we are talking about AMD vs Intel Processors, the fans might argue that one compares better than the other, but no.

However, two things I want you to know.

  • Ryzen 7 3700X has a better Cost to Performance Ratio.
  • The Motherboards are comparatively cheaper than what i7 requires.

Therefore, you can make a Ryzen 7 PC in much much lower price.

The Prices continually change so you might need to check those regularly.

AMD RYZEN 7 3800X VS INTEL CORE i7 10700k

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

The Ryzen 7 3800X loads 8 cores and 16 threads with clock speeds ranging from 3.9GHz to 4.5GHz.

The processor provides decent gaming with better multitasking capabilities than its competitors. The Ryzen 7 provides enough power for heavy & high-end tasks like video edits.
